Just wanted to say hello. After some thinking and deliberation I decided to get a V as my next car. Just for the record my user name was this for many years. So it is all coming together.

Anyways, let me know if you see a good CTS-V for sale. prfereably under 30.

I am in Atlanta, but can always hire a u-Haul for a good deal :)

Alex....welcome. When you find the right V.....you'll love it.....hate it......well not hate.....that's a strong word.
No, you WILL LOVE IT ! ! It's pretty much a four door 'vette, but you already know that. It has a few quirks......biggest problem, of course is the diff. I'm on my third and on this one have not done any clutch dumps, burnouts or anything. Getting a bit of Whining @ 40 and 70, but not too bad. When you find the right one, make sure the next diff change (if there is one) will be covered under warranty. Some guys have changed quite a few and the dealerships are saying NO MORE DIFFS. (Depends on the dealership, and AVM I think). Enjoy this forum....it's wonderful ! ! !

No worries, getting one is just a function of time.

Plus I might as well start off on a good note, there will be plenty of chances to make an ass out of myself later.

Alex, you might get some guys offering their car to you, alerting you to someone else's, or helping you sort thru the ones you present here.

You might want to start with eBay just to get a feel, and Autotrader might have a couple as well as some dealerships around you. Lindsay Cadillac is what, a couple of hundred miles from you? James, there, might see some from time to time. If you see one, throw the VIN up here and maybe someone will check it for you.

Stay in touch here. Good luck!

And as Flyboy says, you'll love it (well, most of the time).

Thanks again, I do have a certain car in mind. Hopefully will be working out details over the weekend.

One thing I noticed, there are not many V's in the South. Or around Atlanta. Good thing i dont mind flying out places and taking a road trip back.

I defy you to find a 2005 with fewer miles than this one. It's in NJ but looks to be in perfect condition.

Holy Cow, Batman! :bonkers:
That car is a score.

05 w/ LS6 > 06/07 w/ LS2 :duck:
Unbelievable opportunity to get a new LS6.

I stumbled on it while looking for a DTS for a friend. These guys seem to have quite a few very low mileage program cars and dealer demos. I can't vouch for them, but I would suggest giving them a call. An LS6 with under 1,000 miles? Unbelievable find for somebody.

That is a nice car.I ran VIN, and it says that car doent exist. I guess its a MSO and never been titled.

Anyways, have cash in the bank for a downpayment. Pre-approved for a loan to cover the difference. Time to wait for a good car to come along.

Ended at $29.1K w/o making reserve.
I wonder what they wanted for it?
If someone here gets it, be sure to post pics, as we will all be jelous.

Something's goofy here. I just tried to find the seller's other items and they're all gone. HMMMMMMMMM.

EDIT - Hopefully this link works, this is all their "completed" items on ebay. Not one met reserve. Me thinks they ask too much!
