The 2008 normal STS has optional Brembo brakes (option code PCZ) included in the Performance Handling Package. Where can I find out more about these brakes: specifications, appearance, and can they be retro-fitted to my 2006? Does anyone out there have and '08 with these brakes? How well do they work?

Hi George, I own here in Germany an 07 export-model and on the V8, as I own the Brembo`s are standard.(not on V6 models).

My other car is an 04 XLR and I`ve owned allways american cars but the best brakes I ever had it`s the brakes of my STS. I use to do a lot of high speed driving on the autobahn and the are GREAT!!!!

Here`s apicture!

Thank you. They do look good. I'm not surprised that they work well.

With what wheel size is your car fitted? 17-inch or 18-inch?

PS: Your English is MUCH better than my German.

No problem George, and thank you that you are able to read my english.

I have 18 inch with 255`s on all four corners. If you take a close look you can see that our export V8 models got the wheels of the CTS V but we have 255`s on instead of the CTS V 245`s.

Does anyone know if the STS-V or 2008 Brembos are a bolt-on for a 05-07 STS? Maybe just need calipers, brackets, and rotors?

You will also need 18" x 8.5" 6 lug wheels to clear the rotors. The Performance Handleing Package option is only like $1595 and includes summer-only performance Michelins and a strut tower brace. The ride height seems a little lower also.
You could never retrofit for anything close to this price, unless you find a wrecked STS-V somewhere.
Those silver painted calipers sure look nice, though. It was worth ordering and waiting.

Just the wheels paired with the Performance Handling Package, STS-V, or Euro-spec versions are 6 lug. The rest are 5 lug.
