Count me in! ..wait, are those 24" rims? No there 27s :suspense: loanofficer 09-28-07, 10:13 AM thae sad part is thats a hot car.... the rims kill it though... Jon 09-28-07, 10:24 AM I give it 3 months before we see a CTS like that lol TSS 09-28-07, 10:31 AM thae sad part is thats a hot car.... the rims kill it though... I have never seen a true 80's SS without a floor shifter. I suppose there could have been a bench seat option, but I wonder if it started life as a basic Monte Carlo. It would be a hot car (minus the rims) if it was really an SS. If not, then not so much. kbevere 09-28-07, 10:39 AM thae sad part is thats a hot car.... the rims kill it though... Yeah i also like the car its self. When was a kid i always wanted an SS. I think the car would look sweet if the rims were 19s. they look nice even though but should be on a truck. I dont know why people do that to there car with rims that big. if its for a show car fine, but to do that just because you think it looks hot. i feel bad for you :helpless: mrplease 09-28-07, 10:51 AM thats nice man. rims are a little to big for me, but thats cool that dudes rollin like that in japan! check out that dudes other rides! hes also got a 05 escalade thats off the chain as well as some others. kbevere 09-28-07, 10:57 AM It kind of reminds me of those Matchbox cars with the big wheels on them :yup: RunningOnEMT 09-28-07, 11:00 AM i actually kinda like donk's thats a pretty classy lookin one too kbevere 09-28-07, 11:04 AM :hide: kbevere 09-28-07, 11:08 AM I give it 3 months before we see a CTS like that lol :thepan: CTSgirlie 09-28-07, 11:57 AM Well I will saw it is one of the cleaner looking one's I have seen. Not for me, but I give the guy props. I have to admit I like to look at them. They always look like about 30 clowns should climb out of them. hehe RunningOnEMT 09-28-07, 12:11 PM its just those goons that try to cram 22's on CTS' that bug the shit out of me...;) CTSgirlie 09-28-07, 12:16 PM its just those goons that try to cram 22's on CTS' that bug the shit out of me...;) I feel the same way! :X heh How dare they destroy a Cadillac like that!!! loanofficer 09-28-07, 12:26 PM I have never seen a true 80's SS without a floor shifter. However, the column mounted shifter is suggesting otherwise. Either a clone, or there was a bench seat option. I used to love these cars and the Buick GNs, which is why the oddity (beyond the wheels :) )caught my eye. theloanman219 09-28-07, 01:44 PM I think a little different from everyone else. Some cars do look stupid but, when I was growing up we did stupid things too. Like putting 10000 watts in a car to make it louder. I have respect for all car guys/girls no matter what their habit may be. If he likes it good for him. He is the one paying for it. Th Th Th Throw some D's on the that BITCH! EcSTSatic 09-28-07, 01:50 PM What...no lambo doors?? :cookoo: LS1Mike 09-28-07, 01:53 PM well it isn't my thing, but it is very clean... illumina 09-28-07, 01:57 PM I have never seen a true 80's SS without a floor shifter. I suppose there could have been a bench seat option, but I wonder if it started life as a basic Monte Carlo. It would be a hot car (minus the rims) if it was really an SS. If not, then not so much. My brother's '86 SS has the column shift option with bench seats...not very common at all. Night Wolf 09-28-07, 02:04 PM why is everyone surprised to see another one? But, I must say, that is clean, and one of the better looking ones out there, but I agree, some classic Cragers and that would be sweet  loanofficer 09-28-07, 02:44 PM dam I rememebr when I was growing ip having a car lifeted higher in the back was in style, anyone remember that??? kbevere 09-28-07, 03:17 PM dam I rememebr when I was growing ip having a car lifeted higher in the back was in style, anyone remember that??? oh yeah my brothers friend had i think an 83 Trans Am and had it jacked up nice and i loved it. i was like when i get older and get my own car im so doing that. But by then that was out and my first cat was a 91 honda crx i had a set of 15s on and i thought that was going big. then again for a small car like a CRX 15 was big :bouncy: http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/1/web/2641000-2641999/2641739_21_full.jpg Stoneage_Caddy 09-28-07, 06:05 PM but i wonder ....with a monte like that does have have a mullet AND a gold medalion ? or is it a mini mullet and a medallion with a spinning rim inside it ? TSS 09-28-07, 08:39 PM My brother's '86 SS has the column shift option with bench seats...not very common at all. I learn something new every day! Thanks . I~LUV~Caddys8792 09-28-07, 10:50 PM The bench seat was in fact an option on the '80s Monte SS's...I've seen a few at car shows and on eBay throughout the years. | |
