My mom has a 1978 Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance.
It's in good shape. Drivable. Has a MA state inspection sticker.
We have recently:
Replaced Rear Shocks
Replaced Resonator Pipe Assembly
Replaced Radiator
Adjusted emergency brake
Installed new battery

The left emergency brake cable needs to be replaced and the headliner is sagging, but neither of those things affects its road worthiness.

She wants to sell it. Looking for suggestions on price. Is $2000 to $3000 unreasonable?

I'd appreciate any advice?

Sounds about right. Give or take a bit. We could really help you, though, if you posted some photos. Also, is it a one-owner, is there any rust, how many miles does it have? These few things can really make-or-break a car.

I suggest you replace the headliner, and really detail it. That will bring in more than just reducing the price. A car with a sagging headliner has a bad psychological effect on a potential buyer, whereas a good headliner will make someone think, "Oooo, this car's been taken care of." Same goes for detailing - I've seen two cars exactly the same, one vacuumed and washed spotless, the other dusty and dank. The cleaner of the two sold for $1500 more...that's the impact of appearance. And the sales price does more than just reflect your work.

Good luck, post pics.

You will find the four door models a little less desireable than the Coupes, and will take a little longer to sell. That headliner is an easy fix you could do on the weekend. Go to a sewing materials place or hobby center. They should have some spray adhesive.
Use some tacks to locate and hold the center of the material. Pull your inner trim pieces off and gently pull the material down on one side. Spray the backing and work the material to the outer edges. At this point you can go to the front or the back, and do the same. Once it adheres to these areas, You can pull the tacks and finish the rest of it.
The Broughams are nice cars, especially if your air ride system still works.
Sometimes you can repair the brake cables, as long as your outer casing hasn't torn apart.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I will get it detailed and the headliner fixed.

Anybody interested in it as is. We'd like to get it sold before winter so we can use the garage space. We'd consider any reasonable offer, especially to move it sooner rather than later.

That is a nice looking Brougham. I like the way the black centers of the wheel covers set off the rest of the car.
