TRANSFORMERS: THE IMAX EXPERIENCE

They have it at the Imax theater now. Does anyone know if its going to be in 3D??

As the resident CF transformers geek, I can tell you it will not be in 3d, however, there are a few extra minutes of footage (live actors, not cgi robots, ugh) The dvd is being released on Oct 16 with 2 disc edition and HD-DVD.

Also, Transformers 2 has a release date set of June 26 2009.

Man!!! I cant wait for it to come out. I havent seen it yet. Im gonna get the two disc. I grew up on the transformer cartoons. I hope I get to see what I remember from the toons.

I saw it when it came out and I would go see it at IMAX. Although, right after the movie I got the Transformers video game for the PS3... wow was that a waste of 60 bucks... horrible game.

most g1 fans were very disappointed, so dont get your expectations too high on g1 comparison (like megatron vs starscream friction was limited to one line, autobot personalities were very different, decepticon personalities were non-existent)

but, I am a g1 diehard, and while this was very different, I liked it ALOT. when the robots were on screen they were simply amazing. The level of detail; ILM outdid themselves.

It is definitely my favorite movie of all time.


and too bad about the game hit, I heard it was pretty cool, but I have not played video games in years
