I see there are some Steinmetz parts for sale on ebay and I need some help figuring out if they will work on my Catera. There is a SC engine front and rear bumper exhaust and rims, I have never seen this car before so any hepl would be great.

A Google search will turn up lots of Steimetz Catera info. Basically it was a concept car built for Cadillac to try and make the Catera more appealing to the younger buyer interested in BMWs. It was based on the Steinmetz Omega they were already selling in Europe. The Catera Concept was based on the 96-99 model. If that's what you have then there shouldn't be a problem. As long as you use the supplied computer and wiring I don't see why not. The 00-01 models? Can't say for sure.

holy ****! if i had the money right now i would buy that body kit in a second. Even though my catera is a 2000 im positive i could make it fit.
That engine is a complete waste of money, you could buy a brand new 3.2 on eBay for only $1500 and buy your own Vortec or ATI supercharger for $1500-2000.
$4500 for only 285 hp is absurd.
Yea a lil expensive you can get an ls1 and transmission for that much and thats 350 hp with a 6 speed

Only advantages would be... it's a direct drop in not real customizations required... and Steinmetz built.
But too much $ for 2 little advantages...

My long term plan include either an LS1 or LS2. F#*k the 3.0, can't handle it, and still would need another transmission, rear end etc... V8, and be done with it!
