I like it a lot! Some people prefer the stock 4300K, but I like the more bluish color!

I also got the 880 Fog Light HID kit to match, but will install it later when I get a chance! It will all match which is gonna look badass.

Anyways, I installed the low beams this morning before work since its so easy to do!

Here are some pics! I just need to use a torx screwdriver to aim it down just a tad!!

Tell me what you think?

I liked the looks when I put them in my 03', just could not live with the loss of light output where I drive, but then again I am old. :(

Looks great. I always liked the look of a little more blue tint to the bulbs. Matching foglights will really set it off!

I see A LOT of luxury cars around my town with HID's that looks like mine! A little bluish tint to it, etc..

Anyways, is there a website that I can go to that shows what is illegal and what isnt for HID limitations??

I just wanted to make sure. I heard that it all comes down to the "housing" of the headlights and how it reflects.. For ex: if you have a 1995 car and installed plug and play HID's, it is illegal since the light beams differently.. But if your "new" vehicles come equipped with HIDs, it should be okay, since the "housing" is made for HID's.

Mine came equipped with HID, but I just changed the bulb to get a little more bluish tint to it..

So does anybody know a site I can go to, to check the laws??

TIA

Looks great!!
Off topic, but how are the wheels after so much time? Any issues, still happy with them? I thinking of taking a chance on the Stunts in 24 or now thwy have 26"s( same as the U2, like yours, right?) I'm just keep thinking to myself that there must be a reason they sell for so cheap!?!
Thx

Dude, these wheels are holding up like a champ!! No pitting, chrome peeling, etc! *knock on wood*

I wash it once a week and wipe it down with just car wash soap. From what I see around here, these ebay rims are better than some of those Giovannas! :P

Just out of curiosity.. For the headlights did you just grab those aftermarket HID D1R's and just swap the stock out? Or did you grab a whole kit? And if you dont mind me asking where you got them and how much.. Thanks

I just grabbed aftermarket HID D1R's.. Actually, it is D1C (universal and will fit D1Rs OR D1S)...

So it was a simple "bulb" swapping.. Just use the same ballast!

I got it from a guy on ebay that sells Pilot HID's. My friends and I bought from him before and he is a great seller!

Email him! Tell him davidle10626 with the Escalade sent ya and he will give you a great deal! I got a very great deal but thats because I return to him and my friends as well. Im sure he'll hook you up.

His name is Frank and here is his email.. pipi_stuff168@yahoo.com

Also guys, I installed the Foglights! Its badass! I'll post the pics later today or tomorrow!!

They do make a nice match. Those fog lights will add a ton of light to your visual field. The HID fogs make for a nice upgrade. :cool2:

SharpHID has a sale going for members this month. Good folks to deal with for HID upgrades. ;)

Anyone know which kit works with the fog lights? Are they 35 or 55 watt?
