I spent all night watching this guy dance and watching the women around him live in fear. This guy never misses a game and the crowd really goes nuts when he "takes it off." After all...I do live in Arkansas. :D

They also had a B2 stealth bomber fly over after the national anthem. That's an amazing looking plane. Just seeing that thing fly over made my hair stand on end. I regret that I didn't get a good shot of it with my cell phone. Maybe next time.
I'm beginning to wonder about you, Rolex.
And yea, the B2 is pretty damned amazing. I'll never forget when I came to the Air Force 50th show here at Beale AFB and saw the SR-71 do a couple of flybys. They also had a B2 and a U2 and the Thunderbirds. Ridiculous. I was about 14 years old and it was one of the most incredible things I've ever seen.

LOL. I'm glad someone is. Someone prolly should. Rest assured that IS NOT me. My mullet is real. :sneaky:
ETA: BTW I was at the Razorback football game so ya know. I didn't buy a ticket to watch this guy dance. ;)

Last year they had three F-16s fly over and it was amazing. You can palpate the awesome power in the air when those things fly over a crowd of 70k.
I video taped it (B2) many moons ago when it did a flyby at our airport.

Yea, I've got video of it somewhere around here too...but couldn't find it. :(

When I was at the Air Force museum at Wright-Pat, there were a couple of people looking at a B-2. I said to them, "That's what a billion dollars looks like".

That B2 is the coolest damn plane ever. Second would be the SR-71 and third, due to the sheer size, would be the Spruce Goose.

It's out in Washington state I believe. I don't know what museum it's in, but I'm sure if you Googled it you'd find it.
Thought it was in San Diego...
If you guys remember the museum opening up in Oregon I was supposed to have gone to a few weeks ago, the guy that runs the place that owns it was there... But alas, I couldn't make it, for a variety of reasons... :(

Youll really love the XB-49 (Northrop's original flying wing that was prop driven)...it was the design inspiration for the B2

I can vaguely remember seeing pics of that...did it have like 4 or 6 motors?
EDIT: I found it. Pretty neat design.

can I bump an old thread and add some info? Jack Northrop saw birds flying and wanted to create an aircraft with all lift surfaces and spent most of his life realizing it. the original flying wing was xb-35, propeller driven with counter-rotating pusher props. later fitted with jet engines it became the xb-49, that's in the picture in post #12. one flew from west coast to wash. dc in record time. funny thing, radar operators had a hard time seeing the flying wing. hmmm...
one crashed in California, pilot Glen Edwards was killed and the airbase was renamed in his honor. pretty much ended the flying wing - for a while. I worked at Northrop (now -Grumman) in the '80s and '90s. can't say much but I can say I did work related to the B2. saw one fly over once, it is spooky quiet.
