Hi everyone, My 93 sts (123miles) developed a hot engine miss. Before I could repair that, it now will not shift into second when warm. It starts off ok when cold( shifts ok) then when warm It begins to miss violently at about 2000 rpm and won't shift into second. It feels like a bad miss though. I changed the coil pack, the plugs and delco wires 1 yr old. I think it is the trans solenoids or is this all because of the miss? Could this be because of clogged egr ports ? I have never cleaned yet. I have no codes at all . Thanks in advance for any advice all.

Since it has 123K and has never had the EGR or the "mouse holes" cleaned, I'd start there. Then move on to the shift solenoids. Have you pulled the DTC's?

Yes , I pulled the codes there is nothing. I will start with the egr ports . thanks
