We are looking for (used) E&G exhaust tips for a 2005 3.6 CTS. Can anybody help out?

You can find those just about anywhere. I'd buy them from anywhere except USSpeed.com, they make 300% profit on EVERYTHING...just for an example, you can get the Mesh Grille by itself on GMPartsDirect.com for some $180...you get the "combo" there for like $400.

You can buy the no name brand ones on ebay for under $50 shipped. Same exact thing. I even like them better because they dont have any engravings on it.

Ewww...those are the ones that make the tips angle down toward the ground instead of the ones that angle straight outward.

Geez..they are not that expensive at $80 new. E&G do look the best.

I got a set from Jon and they look great! I was worried about them angling down also, but they really don't. They look just like the pics on the ebay link. Way better than having an exhaust tip with a giant visible bend in it like the E&G.

Problem is not the price of the tips. It is the ups shipping rate. Maybe someone has a set of used or new tips and can ship them for a reasonable amount?

There are always multiple ebay sellers that have the E&G tips for $89 plus shipping. Why not try emailing a few of the sellers to see if they will take 10% off.

You really can't beat the quality of the E&G tips....they are double walled mirror polished stainless steel.

Allot of the tips look similiar, but are chrome plated. Exhaust gasses and carbon deposit will pit the chrome in no time flat.

Pay the extra few dollars and buy the E&G tips...they are a quality product.

That was true at one time. About a year and a half ago; GMPD sold the CTSV mesh grill for $180.00

I checked recently and the shipped price was around $330.00

I believe GM say what E&G was getting for their mesh grills and then just about doubled their counter parts price.

I don't know about that shipped price for the mesh grille, however, what I will say is that the NEW grilles that there are, are pricey on GMPD....but USSpeed is pure profit...I would go to great lengths to avoid ever buying anything from them.
