Our 94 Seville runs the battery down b/c a fan is running while the car is shut off. We sometimes disconnect this... but is there a way to get it to stop running?

If it is running continuously, you probably have to replace the blower motor.

The fan in the engine bay. It does not run continuously but starts and stops periodically.

Are you talking about the radiator cooling fans or the HVAC blower motor?

The fan(s) MAY run for 20-30 seconds, once or twice, after a hot drive. If one or both run after that cooldown cycle, something is wrong with the temperature sensor, the fan control module, or the control relay. Sounds like a dealer do.....

Perhaps you have "afterblow" enabled.

If it's the HVAC fan, the module that controls it is bad. I've got good used (tested) modules for $35 plus ship.
