: Seat Won't Move

96 Fleetwood Brougham passenger seat won't recline forward or backwards. It moves front to back but, won't recline. Can the recline motor be replaced, or do I need to get another passenger seat?

No, the motor can be replaced. Before you do that though, I'd make sure the wiring at the switches is good. I've also heard that metal filings in the motor can cause it to freeze. Smacking it with a rubber mallet will fix that for a while, but you may want to take it apart to try and clean it out.

I can't believe that after all of this time, the motor was unpluged! No idea how it happened, just plugged it back in and it started back working!!!

That happens more often than you'd imagine. Sometimes vaccuuming under the seats pulls the wires out.
