Picked up the '98 STStoday. It is a real honey of a car! It just clicked over 34K from madison to Minneapolis. I have a couple of dumb questions. Um, where is the battery? On my '94 it is on the passenger side under that plastic flap. I have no clue under the '98 hood. And, does anyone have a cheat sheet on how to program the Bose stereo system? The rear speakers don't seem to be working and I assume they are controlled electronically by a fader. But I have no clue how to get into there to do it. But hey, I did figure out the memory thingy for the 2 drivers, the cruise control, and the rest of the dash info stuff while driving for 4.5 hours! My 16 yo son wheeled the '94 behind me. Was his first long distance driving gig and he did great! He thinks I will give him the 94 STS. Um, no! Definitely no. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated. Owner told me it was the original battery, so I knoooow it is going to cash in soon!
