Yeah, I actually don't think I've ever seen them before either--Caprices and Olds, yes, but not a Caddy.

Not my style, but actually looks pretty cool...and fitting with an "old school" theme/style.

Gotta go thumbs down on this one. Suited to 40s/50s rods, not to an 80s Fleet.

Nice tires, though:thumbsup:

Just one man's opinion... I am sure lots of people don't like some of the things I have done to my cars:tisk:

Hmm, I like the whitewall width, just enough to get the point across with out going too '50s. I might have gone with a slightly narrower tire though, those look like 225-235. To avoid the already increased balloon look with those wheels/tires, I would have gone with a 215.

it would look even better if he could get some wreathes from a brougham or something and chrome em out and put em on them rims .....

That car would look killer in its stock form. Lose the grille, put some Caddy wires or some type of correct wheelcover on it. Somebody please stop that guy before he puts flames down the side... :thepan:

Gotta agree. It's a beautiful Caddy, and should be returned to stock form. Those wheels would be better suited on a primered out CDV with a big block 500 under the hood.

If it was a '51 FWB it might look nice

I think those rims would look better on a PT Cruiser

Let me pipe in here again. I think the wheel/tires look quite nice. Just seems to be on the wrong car. At least there isn't mega-size wagon wheels on the thing. But what can I say, I drove around in the '70s with Buick Riviera mags on my '58 Coupe de Ville! :hide:

That actually sounds like it'd be tough looking...Any pictures?

The wheels are OK if that is what you like BUT the Lincoln Continental grill has to go bro. What ever works for you, at least those wheels will be easy to clean, unlike Vogues. TexasCadillac :)

I have a couple of old photos and may do a thread in a few days on that old beast. Stay tuned.

I'm oddly attracted to those antique looking wheels. I do prefer the spokes, but there's an odd cleanness to that look that i can't say no to.
