$12 grand!!!!!!!. I wish him luck. Check out the pinstriping he did, pretty cool. Thats what he said he was going to do after he got it, I guess thats what the guy did or does for a living.

Hah...and even funnier, he too is now considering a VAN for trade--just like what you replaced it with:)

He's INSANE with the price, though...some people are just too far out in left field to see reality...

Well I got into a "internet" fight with him, haha.

I did get him to put the true chassis mileage in the listing though!

I offered him a straight up trade for my wagon and he said he needs the $12K to buy a van.

I wish him luck....

What did he pay for it? I'll send him a message saying i'll take it for what you paid for it. That should get him thinkin..

Ah lets leave the guy alone. He's a nice guy just trying to make a buck like the rest of us. What I think he should have done is to make it "Buy it now OR Best offer". Instead he's just doing a Buy it Now but then saying that no resonable offer will be refused.

Well, I'm saddened that it didn't go to somebody who wanted to cherish it, and not just make a quick buck. But I do like that pinstriping. Just enough.

Really...I get the concept, just like I also get needing a lobotomy...

However nuts it may be, and how he'll NEVER get that much, we'll see how it turns out.

He could have at least taken his own pictures to show what it looks like with the white walls and wire caps. I keep kicking myself that I didn't buy that car.

I would give him $3K for it, but he already refused that... oh well.

I would give him $3K for it, but he already refused that... oh well.Dont kick yourself too hard. Car still needed work, not really NEEDED but it definately could have used gears, stall converter, headers and TPI. The gas mileage was really bad, I only averaged 10-12 mpg and because of that it didn't make the best of daily drivers. I think a TPI system would have made the car a much better daily ride with better throttle response and gas mileage. I sold it because of the gas mileage and because I knew I wouldn't stop modifying it. I have to say that it was extremely reliable and was fun to drive though.

Has anyone else noticed the staggering amount of '91 Fleetwood limos on Ebay with extremely low mileage (30k-50k or so). One of those could make a good van substitute no?. :alchi:

Do it!I kinda want to but I'm wondering if a limo would be a PITA to drive and park. I'm watching the auctions, I want the black one with the icky blue velour!.

In all honesty mine was in better shape cosmetically. Paint and top were just as nice if not better (newer) and it didn't have the cosmetic problems with the bumpers that one had. The ONLY things better about that one are the low miles, leather seating, and probably the condition of the drivers seat. I wouldn't pay $11k for that one either.

I hope they didn't drill holes in the dash for the compass. That would be the first to go for me...then get a mirror with an electric one.

Low mileage, original, 350 equipped FWB's are very capable of pulling 8's. 11 is a bit unrealistic, but if you've been watching ebay lately a couple of lucky sellers have brought in better than 10 for similiar examples. Like this one with reserve not met...

I believe they have friends & family bidding on it, starting a war between interested parties. It will not sell and will be re-listed on eBay 50 times like most of those high dollar Fleetwoods!

LOL...Yeah. After I posted I looked at all the bidders bid history and noticed that the bidders all have prior bids on the sellers other items. What I don't get, is why would you wanna pay the $40 sellers fee if the item doesn't sell? Or issue your buddy an unpaid item strike.
