Occasionally, we see a thread or post that talks about 114.3 lug nut patterns on Cadillacs, including the CTS.

Some think that GM uses 114.3. Some of us say that GM uses 115.

5X115 is correct for the CTS. 5X114.3 will work with a hubcentric ring. What's the point of your post?

5x115 still depending on the centerbore of the wheel needs hubrings.

The requirement for hubcentric rings arises when the hub bore of the wheel doesn't match the hub bore of the vehicle. I.E. 74mm hub bore of a MKW wheel for example can fit a Cadillac and a Chrysler 300 AWD. But both are 5x115. However both have different hub bores. The 74mm hub would be a direct fit to the Chrysler but not the Cadillac.

It is something that seems lost on most people who work outside the industry, but thats not surprising. In any case the Cadillac would require hubcentric rings to fill the gap from 74mm to 70.30mm.

The only time you don't actually need hubcentric rings is when the wheel is built as a direct fitment. This is obviously what the vehicle manufacturer produces.
