I have a 2004 SRX with factory navigation. My original disc broke so I purchased a replacement from gmnavdisc.com. When I put the disc in, I got the message "Reading DVD, Please Wait". I never get past this point. I brought the car to the dealer and the changed the enitire radio/dvd stack and put in a new/updated DVD nav disc. That didn't work as we still have the same problem.
Has anyone had this issue and know how to correct it?

Good morning from here in Germany at 7 AM,
The same problem I hat yesterday by inserting the new Map DVD to system.
I`ve bought it from Dealer.
On the backside of the box is a notice - remark:
Vehicles built prior to 2007 may require a service update (CD) if the address destination entry no longer functions.
I will get my Nav Software Update on Tuesday.
Perhaps you have a comprable problem.
Please let me know the outcome...

Well, i got my Nav Update installed and all works well.
But after reading again the first thread of 443203 I think i missunderstood the problem.
My Problem - i´ve not been able to insert an adress of destination - this is now ok.
The problem of 443203 seems not to see the entire nav screen to enter something.
Nav screen was appearing at my system, but no insertion possible.
But perhaps the sytem of 443202 has to be newly installed then with the update disk. There are some threads describing the TSB (f.E. by STS) step by step.
Apologising at 443203 but hope my answer is little bit helpful.
greetings from bavaria - Winnie
gmnavdisc.com com contacted me last week and advised that they had a problem with part numbers in their system. They originally sent me the wrong NAV disc and that's why my unti could not read the DVD.
I received my correct NAV disc on last week and it works like a charm. When ordering thru gmnavdisc.com or thru your dealer, ask for "2008 NAV DISC XLR/DEV/SEV".
I don't have the part number on me but will update this post with it as soon as possible
I have a 2004 SRX V8 with Factory Navigation.
The correct gmnavdisc.com part number for the latest 2008 NAV DISC is 25861392. The invoice I received stated "2008 NAV DISC XLR/DEV/SEV". But it works in my 2004 SRX.
It is a two disc including US/CAN-E and US/CAN-W.
