Those look like the wheels on that 89 I was looking at. Are they Cadillac wheels? The lady said they came form the dealer but they don't look Cadillac to me?

Those are factory Cadillac wheels. They were optional, at a cost of almost $1k.

I picked up another set on Ebay a few weeks ago. I'm having them rechromed and throwing them on my 78. Then I'm taking the 78 wheels and throwing them on my 80. I've been looking for the correct centercaps for years now.

Yes, I can't find the center caps too. I am just going to make inserts that are maroon, and add Cad crests. The ones that are on the C pillars look perfect...

If you have nothing else to do on Sat and Sun, you could sit on ground and polish all of those spokes.

(My dad was a Harley Dealer, and guess who had that job when I was a kid.)

lol... when I picked up my wires, they had been painted with gold spray paint! I spent two days with paint stripper, a pressure washer, then naval jelly with a toothbrush. It was messy...

Hey Wheelman, how much did it run you to have them rechromed? Are those rims tubeless? I've been wanting a set like those for my '77.

...and, what do you do to rechrome? Complete disassembly? Removal of all spokes? Then just rechrome the hoops and the centers? I think the spokes are stainless, right?

Maybe I'll get mine redone, too...
