I have no service records as I used to work for a dealership and did everything myself

Transmission has been flushed at 38k
Differential fluid change twice, cannot remember the mileage. Last time was very recent.
Engine oil has been changed every 3k if not sooner always used Mobil 1 10w-30
Tires have approx. 3-5k left on them

The only blemish on the vehicle is a barely noticeable scratch on the passenger door, other wise it is perfect.

I'm selling it simply because I do not have the time nor the money to 'play' with it anymore, My loss your gain.

Almost forgot to mention, it is not a Y87 car, but does have 3.42 with posi from the factory.

Asking $11,000 OBO

Also included are 4 original 16" Chrome wheels with 2 good tires.

Nice ride for sure. I know a guy who would have bought it right away had it been a z28

^^ Ya, thats the problem I'm running into, if it had been a Z28 I don't think it would be for sale currently...to much work to convert it unfortunately.

How much for the X5? :D

Nice Camaro, tastefully done.

Is the X5 a 4.6iS or is it just a special Body kit? We just got a 4.6 with a Stage II Dinan upgrade a few weeks ago, drove it to Kansas for my brother. Holy shit what a ride.

x5 is my pops ride...4.4 with a body kit and 20' 4.6is wheels (replicas) ya it's a fun ride...I'm not too sure but I don't think there was a big difference in the 4.4 and 4.6 still, they're both nice cars....I wouldn't give you what they want for one of them though....that damn X5 cost more than my V and it's an 02' I think.

Nice car but it wont fetch that money cause
1. not a Z28 (as mentioned)
2. not a convertible
3. no t tops

Like others have said, you made some real nice tasteful mods.

^^ You're always supposed to start high and work your way down :p Besides I'm in no rush to sell it...if I had the money I'd ultimately put a turbo kit on it, forward sweeping headers, custom cold pipes, basically the works and get ~380-400rwhp with stock internals..which has been dyno proven and daily driven...so we'll see what happens.

Oh my trust me... there is a difference. I think the way his 4.6 is configured it runs 0-60 in about 6 Seconds flat, with about 369hp on tap. Thats nothin compared with the V, but ridiculous for an SUV.

My Range Rover by comparison with the 4.4, is a slug at around 8 seconds or more. The X5 4.4 Sport is a little faster, but not terribly so.

As far as the price of your car, a wise man once told me; "Theres an ass for every seat". Leave the price where it is for a while, if not just drop it some. Its not like your hurting for the money or anything.

That's one of the best looking Camaros I can remember ever seeing. Very well done.

Nice, if it was an SS I'd take it!!!

If it were a Z or SS it wouldn't be priced where it is.

Still, it's a great car for the money and can be made to go real fast with not much more money. Good luck Nikon.

Yea ive got my mom's 2000 Cherokee listed for 8000.00 and we get calls and emails, so with the right buyer, I dont see you having any problems with 10k for that car, if not the 11 youre asking.

If you were trading it in, I'd say yea your f*cked because its simply not worth that on paper, but private sale you have exposure to the buyers looking for just that kind of car.

Ya it ended up being a 15yo and his dad...The kid was drooling and the dad was trying to mop it up and make it look like they weren't interested...He said they've got a couple more to look at, but thats standard...judging by the way the kid was looking at it I think I have a sale...I told em 10k was as low as I'd go...he offered 9k so we'll go from there. Wish me luck :D

Playdrv4me

Its sold... theres no way the dad is gonna be able to convince the kid to go for any other v6, and you KNOW he wont put him in a v8... hence, yur PERFECT buyer. good luck

That is one nice car. Have you done anything to modify the engine for speed ?

dwight.j.carter

That looks like a v6 where are the other two cylinders ?
I would be interested if it was a v8 but it would be a good car for the kid. I had a v6 convertible at one time and it was alot of fun.

nikon
08-16-07, 03:09 PM
^^ ya it's a six...I hit a bump to hard and two of the cylinders just fell out :p

but ya, it was my first car. I wanted something sporty (trans-am) and my pops wouldn't go for it...I'm pretty happy if I get 10 for it, seeing as though brand new we only paid 16k :p

Kael

well now there are turbo kits for the 6 cylinder that will put that car in the 11's.

but yeah, nice car.. but its a six.

^^ see and thats all anyone ever told me and it's ****in annoying.....Just one of the reason I got the V.

Oh and the kid couldn't afford the insurance...so, it's still for sale :(

How much can insurance be on a stupid V6 camaro? Hes going to have to drive a minivan or a 77 Chrysler Cordoba to get anywhere reasonable insurance at his age. Stupid insurance.

High insurance on a V6 domestic car is the stupid part! Now the kid will end up in some hopped up Civic and the cycle of importification begins. Next thing you know, hes on Tyson Beckford's "Fine Tuned". Sigh.
