Okay, It's supposed to pass by the island I'm on (The Big Island) at 2pm on Tuesday. This is where it is right now. It's a Category 3 storm right now. winds of up to 140mph. I like storms; they're fun.

How come this isn't showing up on the National Hurricane Center anymore?

Florida may have something to watch out for...

You should've met my grandmother Florence, aka "Flossie." She was 4 foot 10 inches and every bit worthy of having a hurricaine named after her. :want: I kind of like it.

I don't know... Hmmm... I usually track it from the Central Pacific Hurricane Center website, which is a part of the National Hurricane Center.

Here's the site:

When Charley, Jeane, and Francis pounded Florida in 2004, it was one one of the greatest times in my life. Booze, flooding, cook outs, hot chicks, CHEAP beer(Budweiser shipped too much to central Florida and were selling 20 cases for $5.99, anyone remember this?), it was just a party for like 3 months.

I love hurricanes.

Thanks to the tropical storm we're having Hawaii like weather here in Fairbanks, Alaska. The phenomenon is called the Pineapple Express.

Wow, I hope that happens here!... So far this storm has been really wimpy and borring. Ohh wait, there's some damage! I think 2 leaves just fell off the tree outside! Woooo!.... lol... I think I should just go surfing. They say the south facing shores are getting 20-25 foot faces.

I dont have any video, but i have some good pics. My favorite is the one of me and about 4 of my friends swimming in the street with my buddies English Bulldog. A classic pictures. Water was about 1 1/2 feet deep. That was for Charley i believe.

Seeing as how i have my friends camera for a couple days, here are a couple pics:

I have come to the conclusion that Hurricane Flossie was nothing but an elaborate hoax. While there was cloud cover over pretty much the whole Island and some nice waves at the beaches, it wasn't any more windy than it normally is over here. It didn't even rain much. We just had a couple of light showers. Today I was stuck with the tedious task of cleaning up the damages that the hurricane left behind. Yup, I tossed that dustpan-full of leaves into the compost heap. Hard work, I tell you. I was out there for some 15 minutes cleaning up the damages... The day before hurricane Flossie "hit" (like a wimpy toddler girl) there was a UFO sighting over one of the airports in this island. Conspiracy? Maybe. Aliens controlling the weather? Maybe. I say it was terrorists! They made some sort of hurricane hologram over the pacific to create a scare! For what purpose, I don't know. Maybe they just like playing sick jokes on America like that, or maybe they're just late for April fools day. Damn terrorists!

Aliens have been and always will be, something i cower over the thought of. I slept on the floor of my parents room til i was 10 years old because i was scared of aliens. They still scare the piss out of me. Especially when im laying in bed trying to sleep.

Too much X-Files as a kid...
