I own one of these, as when my grandpa died he left it to me as we both built it.


I was wondering, i am thinking about manning up and finally going and starting it up for the first time in a year, what should i watch out for. The car was running great a few years ago and its been in a Airconditioned and heated garage.

If it's only been a year, under those storage conditions everything should be OK to start. After about five to ten minutes, stop and change all the fluids and check the timing and carburator settings. Other than that, it should be good to go. Good luck and let us know how things turn out.
