Hi eveyone,

I'm on a trip in my 1995 Fleetwood, and right at the start the darned service engine light came on. It went off at the next start but went on again, and this repeated itself again. :thepan:

Since I'm on the road, I don't have my service manual available. But I did pull off the codes.

Pointer 00 (the the main engine PCM) has active code 23 I believe this is the one that has caused the service engine lamp to light.

Pointer 02 (AC system???) has history code 126. I'm pretty sure this will NOT set the lamp, and it's probably been there for months.

Does anyone have their service manuals handy and care to let me know what pointer 00 code 23 is? :worship:

Hi, still looking for somemhelp... It 23 by any chance the EGR valve on the 95s???

23 is "Intake air temperature sensor signal showed an air temperature below -31 F for 1 second after the engine has been running for 4 minutes" according to this site (http://www.troublecodes.net/GM/95_57P.shtml)

Try cleaning, then replacing that sensor.

That's hilarious since it was 98 degrees out when the light came on :bouncy:
