Just found that nice forum on google.
My name is Michael and i live in Hamburg (great city!) in northern Germany.
I´m 34 Years old and my main Interests are classic cars and classic rock music.
I spend a lot of weekends at car meetings...
Just bought a 1988 Fleetwood Brougham de Elegance. Pics will follow!
My actual cars are: 1987 BMW 520i Edition (e28), 1991 Buick Park Avenue.
Sometimes i drive my mum´s 1987 Pontiac Firebird on sunny days...
I got a little experience on these 80´s cars because i owned a lot of them:
BMW 3, 5, 7 Series (e30, e28, e23)
and of course GM F-Bodys (Camaro and Firebird/Trans Am)
This is my first Cadillac and i hope i will enjoy it for a long time.
Unfortunately most Tire Shops in Germany do not offer whitewall Tires...shit!

The 70 Eldo is in Holland, but I will drive it to Hamburg some day. I did last year, but it needs a leak repaired in the rear window gasket. So that will require a new vinyl roof...

I was there at the "Spielbudenplatz" yesterday. The rain kinda spoiled it, so I only parked for about 15 minutes. Long enough for at least one person to make photo's :D

Unfortunately yesterday i was not there because i felt a little bit sick, the flu...
Next weekend we will be at the "Rotenburg Race Days" Great meeting.

yesterday my Cadillac was loaded by the transport firm in Bavaria. They say i will have it here in Hamburg around tuesday.
I´m so happy and can´t await it. I just received pics from the loading procedure:

No, but they don´t drive directly to Hamburg. They deliver other cars in Frankfurt and Braunschweig.
Tomorrow my Caddy will arrive at their firm in Harsefeld; northern Germany.
Then they will deliver it around tuesday if a truck is free and has a tour to Hamburg (i hope...).

Welcome to the forums. I just got back from holidays in Germany. Spent time in Munich and area. Did the BMW factory tour. I was only one who didn't drive BMW. Great tour. Also enjoyed the beer tours! Met a nice couple from Hamburg. They were there for a convention. Driving that big Caddy in Germany will be a challenge, although I did see a 1 tone dually Dodge truck there as well.

Yes, I like the sharp edge design of the 70´s / 80´s BMW cars and the sporty interieur and
the "race" feeling while driving them; shifting gears and accelerating... cool...
But I also like that "sugar daddy" feeling while driving an american classic car... it´s just unbeatable !!
