Does someone have a flat rate manual? I'd like to know how long it takes to replace the front pads on my 03 CTS....?? How much time does it say ... is what I mean?

lol. Changing the front pads takes like 10 minutes tops.

I would venture to say that the flat rate manual says 1 hr to 1.5 hrs, even though most mechanics can do the job in 20 min or less--after they get car on lift.

Dealers charge in increments of 30 minutes. Typical rate in Ohio is $80/hr.
35 minutes is an hour or $80. It can be done in an hour but some dealers may milk it for 1.5 hrs. They usually charge you for clean up supplies also.
