Lux,

Your gonna need a bigger truck. Stick with the 500 and leave this one alone. Could you imagine cost of an oil change?

Speaking of oil.....I wonder how many quarts it holds?

Wait, it's a 2 cycle diesel. Do they need an oil change?

I'd have to put the fuel tank on a trailer and pull it behind me.;)

I think the worlds most powerful engine technically is the main engine on the space shuttle, it makes 37,000,000 hp and weighs 28 tons....

Interesting way to 'lite the tires up' (referring to the 200 feet of flame coming out of it)

That is the worlds most powerful piston engine.

And how big a battery do you need to start it? Would it fit in the bed? What happens if it doesn't start the first time? Just who is gonna be able to give you a boost? Well, you could always push-start it. :histeric:

Hey! You could redeploy the 500 as the starter motor!

The link in the first post isn't working for me, but my very brief research shows that the 12-cylinder Sulzer 12RTA96C engine (output of 89,640 bhp) is the most powerful diesel engine currently in production.

Here's a picture of it:

I've seen that on a differnet board, believe it or not I think Hyundai makes that, on their industrial end of course.
