Whats a good radar detector? I had a valentine one before and worked well was wondering if anything better out there before purchasing another?

I think V1 are very good, but if you live in an area that radar are illegal to have, I say get the STI Beltronics, if not get the V1

I have a Passport x50 but I recommend a Valentine One

V1, works for me.

Ive got the Escort SR7 with laser shifters and I love it. Its hardwired into my car and the display is hidden so I dont have anything on the windshield. I can pick up radar long before I even see them. The laser shifters are great too and theyre legal where I live.

I'd go for the V1. You can't beat it.

V1, I have 5 of them and they work great. Using a Solo in my 07's until I find a mount I like. ;)

V1 hands down. Gotta love the arrows.

My wife has the Passport X50 and thats not bad either. But when I'm driving "her" truck and the radar goes off, I have to look ALL around as there are no arrows.

I have 4 Valentine and would not be with out them. Stay with the V1.
