I am looking at buying a 97-98 Catera. I have a double-din stereo that I would like to install in it. I see that the Catera's stereo is slightly rounded on the edges. Does anybody know is anyone sells an aftermarket faceplate that will allow my stereo to be added? Thanks for any help you can give me!!!

Yeah there are faceplates out there, they are rare and sometimes your better off custom making one, i believe there are some comapnies/outfits that do this. Some great examples are from cardomain, where users have pimped out their Cateras...

Look around on the internet, or ask some expirienced stereo installer guys. They should be able to hook you up. :D

i have a dash kit that was used on my 99 catera it fits a 97-99 i think also a 00 not sure on the 00 but for sure on the other years very rare find... selling it for 45 its a direct bolt in no customizing.. it even has a pocket under the din to fit cd's and what not. email me if you are interested.... rbanda@tmail.com

Yeah, it wouldnt work for the 00-01, the interior was redesigned.
