My 2007 DTS Nav screen is blocked by the shifter when it is in the drive position.
Does anyone have a fix or suggestion? Is GM working on a fix?
It's very annoying and unsafe because I have to move my head to the center of the car to see the entire screen.

It's very annoying and unsafe because I have to move my head to the center of the car to see the entire screen.

Rear view mirror presents same problem.

Possible solution:

1. Put a mirror behind center of front seat at a slight angle.
2. Put a second mirror on dash above instrument panel.
3. If you play with the angles of attack, you should see your nav system fairly well.
4. Don't you just hate smart aleks--especially those with no empathy!!

Life is tough.
