Which one should I rent? I'm picking up one of either from Enterprise this afternoon and taking it 300 miles to Nashville and back. I know the DTS has an MP3 jack, I assume the CTS does as well.
How is the CTS compared to DTS in terms of quiet, comfort, and ride?

The only thing they have in common is that they have a Cadillac Wreath & Crest on them. The CTS is nice for around town, the DTS for touring. :alchi:

DTS. That way you'll know how I roll....but yours would be 15 years newer. :D
I've had both as loaners more than once, and milked every second of having them.
DTS Pros:
Cavernous inside
High quality interior
Badass exhaust note
Excellent ride
DTS Cons:
Waaay too much body roll through turns, even slight ones
Slow-ish
CTS Pros:
Fun to drive
DSC is neat
Awesome handling
RWD
2.8L isn't that slow
CTS Cons:
Transmission takes awhile to downshift into lower gear
Some plastics you would expect to find in a Cavalier
Got the DTS. SO QUIET. Handles incredibly well.

Obviously moot at this point, but yes Id suggest the DTS if you wanted a good highway cruiser. And since MP3 jack was important, more reason to go with the DTS.

Just to comment. The new DTS is pretty even from a roll with a CTS 3.6L. The 2.8L is slow...

Are you taking this to Tampa too or are you gonna grab something else when you get there?

Ian is picking me up from the airport and then we're taking his brother's new toy. You'll see it. :)
You need to come to the meet.
