View Full Version : TOP URGENT: How do I remove the AC control unit....

... on the dashboard, I need to disconnect it coz the ac blows hot/cold air even if the car is shut off completely, i came this morning and the battery was completely dead. Actualy I reached the control unit by the back by removing the radio head unit, there is a sort of connector with lots of wires on it that i want to remove but i couldn't since that thing is not visible to me.

Anyhow, I just need to disable that damn Electronic climate control....

I dont know how i'll get to work monday :-/

You weren't able to shut it off thru the module under the hood or is this an earlier post. Let me know...I'll be online here for a lil' while.

Where is this module ?


I tried to shut it off by removing the wiring that is in the back of the elctronic climate control the thing where you selt the temperature and Auto or Econ mode, it's on the dash....

I disconnected the blower, but THERE STILL HOT OR COLD AIR BLOWING INSIDE MY CAR !!!!!:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: It's air that comes naturally from outside but how the **** can i disconect the heater/cooler completely ??? This thing is driving me crazy....:(

Driving and the air is blowing in? Then one would assume the vents are open.
