Just bought a set for my Fleetwood for a measly $55. I'm having them put in on Sunday. Is the car gonna have its ass sticking up in the air for a while? If so how long before it goes back down?

Are these used springs or new aftermarket? If they are used then you will see no difference because the level ride system assists the springs to level the car. The air suspension keeps approx 15 to 20 lb. in the shocks at all times. With a non functioning level ride system the car will sag. If they are new aftermarket and the level ride works then that system will try to compensate either by exhausting air or adding air until the axle mounted sensor sees level. The lever attached to the rear axle has a small amount of adjustment available by loosening the bolt at the leveler arm at the frame mounted sensor and rotating it thru the elongated hole on the arm itself. Most cars with non level ride should not sit much higher with newer springs assuming they're direct replacements not aftermarket trailer towing firmer springs.

These are new replacement springs not OEM but specifically for this car. They're not the heavy duty ones, just the standard replacement springs. My level ride works perfectly but my car sags in the rear because the springs in there are the original springs.

It will sit like it should and shouldn't sag for at least 10 years or so

That's why I like to replace springs in complete sets...

I'd really like it if you measured both ends of your rocker panels from the ground before you have the new springs put in, often it looks like the rear is lower when it's actually level. When I got my Phaeton it had heavy duty springs in the back and originals in the front. Which made the rear about 1.5" higher than the front... it drove me crazy.

I had them put in today and they're perfect. The car is perfectly level, the fender comes right up to the edge of the whitewalls as it used to. It used to come up to the edge of the hubcap. I also don't see very much of my Level Ride light which is good because the poor things were holding the rear of that car up for a while. The springs that came out were rusted to shit and they were flaking off bits of rust. I only wonder how much longer until they broke completely.....

This is an exclusive deal for me. I got them from my work's parts supplier. I paid wholesale and had a coworker install them for me. Totally not approved......
