: Another Drip Problem

 I have a 2007 SRX V8 AWD with rear A/C. I have noticed what looks like an A/C condensate drip coming from behind the driver's side rear wheel. Has anyone else seen this? I have an appointment next Wednesday with the service shop to look at this. The service guy I talked to said that he was unaware of any condensate drains at the location I described, but he thought it might be a leak in the rear window washer system. I have not used the rear window washer, so I don't think that is the problem...I don't think there is a tank for the washer fluid back there and the only way I could see to get a drip from a leak in the washer system would be to run the washer pump (which I haven't done).

If anyone has any knowledge or input on this, I would appreciate your help!

Thanks!

My drip is actually inside the car over the gas pedal. I took it in on Tuesday for the second time and they said that they could not reproduce the problem. I get in the car today and on the way to work it drips. I'm really not sure what to do. Let me know how you make out.

There is a rear evaporator in the location you describe. Condensate has to go somewhere. If I look above the muffler I can see the inlet and suction line (larger of the two). Just in front of the smaller line is the drain tube. It looks like condensate would drip on the top of the muffler. Here in Arizona the humidity has been so low recently hardly any water drips

That's where the rear a/c evaporator and air intakes located. I'd doubt everything the service guy says in the future if it's the rear a/c and not something else.

OK Guys...Thanks for the input.

Maybe I'll have to educate the service advisor on this.
