Looks about normal to me, maybe slightly more creased than mine. If it bothers you that much, the best way to do it is order a new seat cover from parts, or take it to an upholstery shop and have those panels replaced.
Might want to try some Griot's cleaner, reconditioner and leather care. Smells awesome and did wonders for my wife's Tahoe with 90k. I use it on the V and don't have this.
Lindsay sells the seat covers and they are very cheap.
I think it was <$200 for the bottom cover.
I figure an upholstry shop should only charge $100 for the labor to swap the new cover in.
They have several products for leather. I used the leather care. They also have a rejuvenator (no experience, sorry). If I haven't used it personally I don't comment but I like their other products I have tried.
Once the leather is creased, it's creased for good. It's the surface dye wearing off due to the creasing that causes the "worn" look on the seat, and no amount of leather product will bring back the missing dye.
Ok, then how does these things happen? I have 55,000 and mine look like that. I weight a buck twenty wet, and others have no problems? I wear a suit to work everyday, and for the first year I only drove the car a mile to the train and back so its not like I abuse them or wear abrasive or dirty clothes.
Others have no problems :bigroll:
Every V owner has creasing problems with thr seat leather.
Let them send you a pic before you believe their seats are still like new.
55K miles, it's time for new skins dude.
The leather in our cars is far from the best in the industry.
Could you get this SpeedShine in a store somewhere or do you have to order it from the web?
