Well my cadillacs just falling apart fuel pump, trunk pull down, and now my key fobs, isnt this wonderful. Someone let me know if this has ever happened to you.

Mind you this happened to both of my remotes after changing batteries.

LOL guess im the first then, that sucks.

You can purchase key fobs on ebay for just a few dollars ... I'd check into that before paying the inflated GM prices.

Thanks for the heads up but ive been noticing a lack of 1996-1997 units and that some of the cateras ones work but thats from 1992-1999 and i dont know how easily theyd switch over.

Put it back together and CAREFULLY solder the pins.
