Hello, theres a 91 brougham ,140,000 miles, for sale in my area,the ad reads
that the mileage reading comes and goes,does this mean expensive repair of the digital readout? thanks for any advice.

It's a couple hundred dollar repair. There's a company that specializes in it, I think it's like $200 through them. Unfortunately, you have to send your whole display to them for a few weeks, but it's a simple repair, just a few bad grounds from the factory. If you do a search, you'll be able to find the name of the company.
