i havea been trying to put new front speakers in, but i cant figure out how to get the G** D*** top dash off where the speakers are, ive taken out all the screws but it still gives me resistance... PLZ HELP!!!

Not sure if our dashtops are the same, but there should be 2 in each defrost vent, one on each side of the dash by the door, and two 7mm screws, one above the speedometer and one in the glove box. Once you get all the screws out, pull towards you before you lift.

A lot of people leave the one in the G-box out during the re-install. It's a pain in the arse.

Got that right! Seems like it's damned-near impossible to get it lined up right to screw back in.

I did exactly that.

I left the glove box one out initially but I had a squeak in the dash. When I put it back the squeak was gone.

...rip out the "Check Engine" light bulb!
