Just bought a new DTS Lux II Diamond white with Shale interior, Bucket seats and factory sun roof. Has anyone bought a wood dash and trim kit to finish off the interior? If so, who did you buy from, and how much was the kit? Thanks for your help. Doug Jackson

Great car!

But, one BIG word of advice, be VERY careful if you do add any type of extra wood trim kit that it doesn't go over the top in terms of pieces. In truth, I think the stock DTS has just the right amount--compare to a lot of new Lexus and MB models, and you'd see what I mean--but if you really are bent on having more wood, make sure the pieces you add are only to places that look like they could and would be made wood in the first place and not just everywhere "because it's in the kit". I.E., having wood covered rings around the vents, extra mirror and seat controls, overhead console, etc. Some extra can be done well...too much just looks terrible.

That said, a few good sites (even if they themselves sell kits with way too many pieces, that would end up being in the "over the top" category):

Good luck with the car and adding a little wood trim:thumbsup:
