BeelzeBob 04-06-04, 12:05 PM My best guess would be to try ebay.. You should find some pictures of old Cadillacs and if you're lucky, you'll find one with the option installed. My Father had one in his 1980 Eldorado Biarritz... Pianoman72 04-06-04, 12:26 PM Here's one in a Seville; good call on ebay Sal. How do you use it, though? I don't see the controls. JAKE91 04-06-04, 03:18 PM CB'S AND 8 TRACK TAPE PLAYERS WERE THE NORM FOR THE 77-79 COUPE DE VILLE'S. MY '79 COUP DE VILLE WAS ONE OF THE FIRST TO HAVE CASSETTE PLAYER. THAT CAR WAS SWEET. I BOUGHT IT IN '94 FROM AN ESTATE.66K, GARAGED.425CI,7.0 L ENGINE. :banghead: AND DAMN SORRY IT GOT AWAY FROM ME.(LONG STORY) :banghead: Pianoman72 04-06-04, 04:22 PM Yeah my folks had a few caddies but never got one with that fancy cassette player. That '79 deville sounds like a dream come true. Sorry to hear it got away. FASSTWOOD 04-06-04, 08:14 PM man that interior looks imaculate. neon_boy82 04-15-04, 09:43 AM I've got that in my '87 fleetwood d'elegance. There is a little switch and a squelch dial just above the preset staion buttons. You click it over and tune the channel with the stereo tuner knob. I'm going to be switching to a CD deck soon. Does anyone know if the CB part will interfere with that or make it harder to install? Mogul345 05-02-04, 10:30 PM My 85 Brougham had the factory CB. I played with it for about 5 minutes, couldn't find a single soul to talk to me over it. Thats when I ripped it out and put my Alpine CD deck in. I couldn't figure out how to get the mic out, so I just snipped the wire for it under the dash. Alpine works great, no problems with the install. AElayyat 05-03-04, 01:20 AM man that interior looks imaculate. Hey fasstwood, I just noticed in your signature that you have not one but TWO Fleetwood Brougham Coupes?!?!?! Thats sweet man. Its hard enough to find one. Your dope man! Oh yeah sorry to get off of the subject. | |
