Looks like the Corvette and the CTS-V arent the only models that come with an LS6. I've been doing some performance estimating at work and came across this:

It uses a "325hp Chevy LS6". Not sure why the power is so low, perhaps they take all the gearbox losses into account. (used on the demonstrator, CCTD) http://www.cartercopters.com/pr_2001-07-12.html

If you total your 04/05, or upgrade to the 7.0L at least you'll have the engine portion of the aircraft. Put your orders in now... the production versions will use Rotax engines.

I'm guessing it doesn't have a Getrag differential...

Probably not, but I know they've blown a few engines, and I dont mean SC.

I've been considering an LS7 for quite sometime, so if anyone wants an LS6 (with or without the maggie), which has been babied and is in terrific shape, make me an offer that I can't refuse.

Then, you can install such LS6 in either a vehicle such as this, a dunebuggy, etc... :)

They could be tuned for the thinner air at higher altitudes.
