Does anyone know if a transmission from a 1996 seville sts will work in a 1994 sts?

So, all of the wiring connectors are the same, even though isn't 96 obdII, and 94 is obd I? I can just install the 96 transmission into the 94 with no problems then?

Not sure about that. maybe one of the Techs will chime in there.

All's I know is the '93 & '94 are exact, when it comes to a side-by side North* swap. I know that a '95 is different. The tranny & harness..... ?

Put a 96 eldo tranny in my 95 SLS, it's the same.
