Some people just have no sense of decency!
:gg:
Sometimes interchangeability is *not* a good thing. And what's worse, it STILL doesn't look like a Cadillac, just a really weird Oldsmobile 88. Some folks have more time than sense. Old Fleetwood 06-03-07, 10:37 PM Omg! I like how he was too stupid and lazy to select proper speaker locations.... I really want to a see a picture of each of these kinds of sellers just to confirm my suspicions. 1990CaddyBrougham 06-03-07, 11:51 PM Oldsmobile... with buick seats, and a cadillac nose
Its like a knock off version or something... 90Brougham350 06-04-07, 12:12 AM I always thought those Delta 88's were hideous, the shape of the trunk lid and the tail lights is just plain ugly! But seriously, did they have to waste a set of Brougham body molding pieces? Cadillac Giovanni 06-04-07, 12:45 AM I sort of liked the 88s. A guy up the street from the garage where I work had one that I saw every day. It was this beautiful sandy gold color in pretty good shape too, real slick car.
Over the next months he slowly started to ruin it. It wasn't long before it had gaudy rims and was stripped down to primer. People say stock rides are boring, but to date i have never seen a modded car that I have liked. 99 times out of 100, the factory got it right the first time.
Why is it that most inner-city project cars never get beyond the primer stage? I~LUV~Caddys8792 06-04-07, 12:55 AM Ahhhh man what the f**k?!
On a similar note..
At work, we had someone trade in an '84 Ninety Eight Regency Brougham Sedan. I figured the car was gonna get wholesaled, and I had to move it out back, I knew the 307 was relatively slow, so I wanted to see what it was like. I was in the back part of the lot and I put her to the floor from a 20mph roll and the acceleration was kinda what I expected....slow, but not horrible. It doesn't accelerate as much as it "gains momentum"...it's not fast and it didn't press me into my seat, but it accelerated smoothly and stayed at the same rate. But on the other hand, the 307 sounds very powerful and has a lot of presence...there is abundant low end torque and when you listen to it, it sounds much more powerful than it actually is. Wheelman322 06-04-07, 01:30 AM :bling: :dammit: :cursin: :smack: Unfortunatly this is an all to common sight. Good solid RWD GM's are being hacked apart in thier late 20's...Make's me very sad as i'm fascinated by all 70-90 RWD GM products...not just Caddy's. TexasCadillac 06-04-07, 01:41 AM it's like a continental kit on a VW and think that people will think it's a Rolls Royce. LOL TexasCadillac Wheelman322 06-04-07, 02:30 AM I like how he was too stupid and lazy to select proper speaker locations.... I really want to a see a picture of each of these kinds of sellers just to confirm my suspicions.
Are you Crazy??? Everybody knows speakers emit the best sound when they're aiming at your abdomen...:bigroll: DopeStar 156 06-04-07, 02:41 AM "Kill me...... killlll meeeeee......" kmagari 06-04-07, 08:36 AM I dont know why any one would waste the time rather then buy a Caddy. Id be curious to know what this guy currently is driving LOL ewill3rd 06-04-07, 08:41 AM Nice! An OldsmoBuillac!
:histeric:
Who'd have thought of that?
What a maroon. KaddyKat 06-04-07, 08:52 AM That's right, that's my ride yeah

Those fiddlers ! Jonas McFeely 06-04-07, 06:21 PM Tasteless: yes. Abomination: yes. Kinda cool: yes. Though whoever did that is a complete 'tard, its still pretty unique. I love the wheels and grille. But the Buick seats, WTF? Destroyer 06-05-07, 12:13 AM Things that make you go.............wtf????:alchi: Wheelman322 06-05-07, 03:34 AM Holy sh*t...He's got 2 bids.... Benzilla 06-05-07, 11:25 AM To think... one of these gave it's life for that thing. Why, WHY!
http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c40/Cadillac_guy/Calendar%20pics/100_0668-1.jpg MaineWater 06-05-07, 01:36 PM I do like most of the 80's RWD cars, Cadillac my favorite of coarse, but that front does not go well with an Olds, neither do I like those seats. This remimds me of a car I saw in a parking lot where the car was an 80's Cutlass an the front was a Buick Regal or something. boricuacaddy 06-05-07, 02:33 PM It's a transformer! More than meets the eye! lol! I hate wannabe's If you want a Cadillac buy a Cadillac period!
David Holy sh*t...He's got 2 bids....
Proving once again that there's an ass for every seat. I guess we should be thankful they didn't try to put Caprice tailights on.... I~LUV~Caddys8792 06-07-07, 12:22 AM Are those seats out of a Lesabre T-Type? It might have looked a lot more natural if they used a Ninety Eight instead of an Eighty-Eight. TexasCadillac 06-08-07, 08:39 PM I hope someone from out of state buys it to get it out of Texas. It'll probably be shipped up to a northern state. Some people just have no sense of decency! 72CoupeDeVil 06-09-07, 01:15 PM I think I just puked in my mouth a little.. 72CoupeDeVil 06-09-07, 01:15 PM By the way,Cadillac is Cadillac, accept no substitutions.. Cadillacboy 06-09-07, 02:27 PM I have seen some Town Cars in disguise of Rolls Royce Phatom on the ebay too but this one is really nasty lol Wheelman322 06-09-07, 05:17 PM Pretty embarassing when you pull up in your Cadillac and have to roll your windows down...Unless it's 1940.:duck: z06bigbird 06-11-07, 08:59 PM Better color than my CTS; much better ride too.
Unfortunately for the seller, that car is not worth much. As most of us know, we all lose money on mods. |
