I have a 2000 Eldorado, the hood latch cable has pulled out of the metal cable end in the underdash lever, HELP. Does anyone have any idea how to reattach cable to underdash lever? Any ideas will be appreciated.

The cable is not that expensive and it was pretty easy to replace (less then an hour). I also sprayed the hood latch with wd40 after I replaced the cable and that made it much easier to pull (trying to keep it from breaking again :-). Good luck.
