im picking up my new carb today, is there any forums that tell you how to tune these carbs? anything i should watch out for?

I bought a rebuilt carb of fleabay and I didn't even have to adjust the idle. I was amazed. Your new one should be pretty close. I'm sure a google search will bring up lots of articles on tuning them. It's basically just idle speed, idle mixture and choke for driveability and play with the secondary opening for racing/passing.

Might as well kill thousands of birds with one stone and buy the factory service manual for your year.

Outside of the usual idle mix screws and idle settings carb tweaking is something left to experts, especially on these carbs.
