Let me get in on the fun. Most of these have been shown here before and none are from this year, but you may enjoy them anyway...

The following were taken on New Hampshire's Mt. Washington Auto Road...

What I live most about the V is taking pics with little light. The right angles make the V's lines pop.

Just a few more...

Another Mt. Washington Auto Road pic...

http://pic14.picturetrail.com/VOL555/2287429/4482063/256217638.jpg

When it's autumn in New England, it's hard to find a great driving road that's not littered with leaf peepers. But I found one. GREAT to haul ass on. I found this nook to take a pic. I could've stopped in the middle of the road and taken one...

Here's one some may love and most may not care for at all. It intrigues me for some reason...

Those roads look like a hoot and a half! :D Nice pictures!Thank you! Every few years I end up driving Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway for a road trip. Last time I did was in '03 in my Accord coupe. I'm feenin' for another go, this time in the V. Hopefully sometime late this summer or fall I can. Pics galore for that...

Is that Skyline Drive in Ringwood area?Skyline Drive starts in Northern Virginia and is a toll road that continues as the Blue Ridge Parkway through North Carolina and Tennessee and continues through the Smokey Mountains.

And while I'm at it, the Tail of the Dragon is in order...

But Skyline Drive running through the hills of Oakland and the surrounding towns of the Bay Area in No. Cali is a great drive, too!

I guess Griots does you good. Do you buff it? I personally like the one with the old time gas station. And yes one needs to get the right angle to catch the lines of the car. Especially the crease running down the side of the car below the windows.

Griots is da bomb. I clay bar and maybe polish it in the spring. Then I give it 1-2 coats of wax. Another coat of wax in the summer. Then 1-2 coats of wax in the late fall. Last year I missed the summer wax. The pics from Mt. Washington was only after a hand wash in late fall. It hadn't been waxed since the spring.

Jim, what Griots polish / wax fdo you use? Yesterday I clay barred, then 1 step paint sealant. I went to use their best of show wax, but it was almost impossible to remove. It feels like a buffer should be in service here, but I don't have one. The paint sealant was so easy to get off.

I have never used an auto wash so I haven't used the sealant at all. I haven't had to use anything stronger than the #3 polish. I use that if I need to which has been twice and the Best of Show wax. The wax is a little difficult to remove.

Griots recommends microfiber bonnets for their random orbitals when removing the polish. Those work well. But they recommend cotton bonnets for the wax. I don't know why, but they do. The bonnets get clogged so quickly, they're almost worthless. I need about 6 or 7 to remove 1 coat of wax. So, if you don't have an orbital, no big deal. I would get 3 or 4 of their wax towels, the big ones, and just try to get off as much from each panel as convenient and then go back once the whole car is done.

If you have trouble getting rid of the residue, try using a touch of Speed Shine to moisten the area and use the towel to buff out. Works pretty well for me.

Nice pictures. One little thing though, your license plate is "BYHEMI", which would imply that your car has been made or made with a Hemi. Is "BYEHEMI" too long?

But I don't care much. I know what it means and the SRT-8 guys do too. Nuff said!

I do love the pictures though. Never had any issues with the Caddy's styling, loved it! Only once have I taken one of my performance sedans on vacation. Most times the Tahoe gets the nod. Great pix guys!
