Each month I travel for 10 days out of the country and I leave my 07 parked in the garage, nobody uses the lade during this time.
I noticed after I installed my amp for the sub with the capacitor, when I come back from my trip the battery is drained , so I have to jump start each time. This was the second time, but the first time I thought it was the CDs in the cd player were loading indefinetly, so this time before I left I took all the CDs out, but when I came back, surprise no battery.
So any ideas, could the capacitor of 6 farad drain the battery in a period of 9/10 days ?

Your battery is probably bad, mine had to be replaced along with the radio cause the cd wanted to keep loading . the battery likely has a dead cell

How can you have a battery problem with lambo doors? Also, do u have a pic of your cars with the doors?

Never had luck with the stock AC Delco batteries, I have two Optima red tops in my each of my 07's. :)

So this a battery problem not an audio installation drain.
I really was thinking of putting the other battery for such situations.
I know Hcvone you did, do you have the optional cables and hardware codes ?
thanks a lot guys
I will have the cables of my installation tested tomorrow for any power drain if there is any.

I don't know what the problem is but maybe a battery tender would be a good investment

OK I'm going to ask the stupid question since no one else did. How is the amp installed/who did it? Are you sure that the amps "antenna" wire is installed to the proper point? Do the Caps have any electronics that are drawing power continuously? Is there some kind of drain at the caps? like to ground? Normally caps, once charged, do not discharge unless there is a drain on them which could cause them to draw current continuously. If the antenna wire is not installed properly, the amp may be powered up continuously which means it never turns off and drains the battery. Just questions that don't seem to have decent answers that would rule them out as possibilities. If you are sure that your new amp and cap are not drawing any power when the car is turned off, then look into the other issues.

I have heard of this before when adding an aftermarket amp to stock Bose systems, the probelm has always been with the remote turn on wire and the amp was basically turned on all the time. Have the person who installed this check this out, I'd be willing to be money this is your problem.

Well the installation was done in a professional installer shop, all the wirings are in place and here is a list of what was installed :

1- Kicker Mono Amplifier SX650.1
2- Kicker SOLO-BARIC TS10L5 SEALED ENCLOSURE.
3- Kicker power kit PKD-1 1/0 gauge
4- Soundgate LOCX 2- cahnnel output converter
5- Tsunami V10PGM4-MANL digital distribution block
6- PYLE 6.0 farad digital hybrid capacitor
7- PAC TR-4 low voltage remote turn-on trigger
8- Monster Cable car RCA cable 201 xln
9- Audio Pipe Digital ANL fuse holder with voltage meter 0/4 guage

So the amp is not on all the time, only when I turn on the ignition the PAC trigger sends a signal to the " TSUNAMI " current distributer and only then the lights on the mini anl fuses light up and the amp is on.
the only thing that is lit all the time is the voltmeter ANL fuse holder voltage reading light and the led lines on the PYLE capacitor.
