i had just replaced the head gaskets on my 96 sedan deville northstar engine and i messed with the timing on the cams i heard the crankshaft sprocket and the other three sprockets above it have dots that are supposed to point at eachother while the cams are supposed to be 90 degrees off the face of the heads with the pins facing up i did it and it is still shaking stuttering missing backfiring and it just sounds terrible with no balance please someone help me out.

:tisk: Get a FSM or do an online search for the technical data. Pray that you haven't bent one or more valves or cracked a head due to piston contact. Cam timing in a N* is a very precise operation because you're fooling with 3 chains and 4 sprockets, all of which have a specific tooth-chain position at only one of many crankshaft positions.
