I am contemplating replacing my Bose system with an aftermarket unit. I have read some of the posts on this board and I think that I have confused myself even further. If that is possible!:bonkers: My main concern is that if I remove the Bose system, I will disable other features of the car. (programming)
My ultimate goal is to successfully install XM or Sirius Radio in the car without any electronic hum or noise. I had a unit hard-wired in by an installer and, no matter what he tried, there was a distinct hum on all channels/frequencies tried. He even tried some of the units with wireless modulators and got the same result: humming noise.:banghead:
I was hoping that someone reading this board can give me a definitive answer regarding this radio and its possible replacment.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!:)
Thanks in advance for any help.
