Today I had my stock, rear 245/45/18 runflats tires replaced with Falken 452s in a 275/40/18. Mileage on the car is 18,xxx. I have attached some pictures to show the before and after. The first photo is the only before photo of the runflats and they are somewhat worn. The remaining three are of the new Falken tires.

Hopefully this will help anyone who is considering a 275 series tire. I am really happy with the look of them over the 245s. They buldge nicely and are extremely quiet. I paid $148 a tire and was out the door for $370 with tax from my local discount tire.

Thanks CTSVFlorida for the pics. This is was a worthy addition to my V.

And here is the same tire on my mustang. These tires do not buldge on this wheel as much, as it is an 18x10 rear wheel. Size here is 295/35/18. For the price, you can't beat these Falken 452s. They seem to last forever too.

I have 275 PS2s on 9.25" stockers. No bulge here, thank goodness.:bouncy:

I've got the FK452s in 275 on the rear and they hardly bulge at all. In fact this is one of narrower 275s I've seen. Barely a noticable difference from my 245 Goodyears that were on there before.

Thanks for the pics. I am likely going to be getting a set of 20" I-Forged Astra's (there is a post a few pages back with some pics in case anybody wants to take a look at them) that I believe are 10.5" in the rear, so I had planned to put 275s on. I was worried about how they would look (possibly sticking out from the fender), but that does not appear to be a problem. Thanks again.

Yeah I posted a thread on those. Those are some amazing wheels. I would call I-Forge and ask them exactly how they have that car set up...tire size, suspension, etc. if you go ahead with the purchase please post pics.... good luck

Yeah I was hoping they would buldge a bit more. I actually really dig the look of it even though its not practical for hooking the car up..... these things do seem a bit more beefy than the 245 Goodyears though.

Nothing worse than a stretched tire on a muscle car
