does anyone know how to program remote from another catera for my 07 catera any help please ... oh ye it does have number 2 in the back

It can't be done on the Catera without the GM Tech-II scan tool.

I did it a while ago when I had access to one and it took 5-minutes, the dealer wanted to charge me 1-hour labour. So don't let the dealer rip you off should you take it there.

It doesn't take anywhere close to an hour. I had it done and they just plug in the scan tool, punch a couple of buttons, and it's done. Less than 5 minutes total. Plus the service manager had pity on me and did it for free, maybe because I was there to order yet ANOTHER overpriced Cadillac Catera part...lol. My advise, try a different Caddie dealer, act very nice, and just maybe they'll do it right then for you, and possibly for free (Ok, the last part is optimistic, but why not hope...lol)
