Since this is the Lounge and we can talk about anything (even other car companies), I thought I'd mention this..

In 12 months the Lexus LS500 GT ultimate hybrid will appear. Combining a 400bhp 5.0-litre V8 with a 200bhp electric motor, the car will offer at least 600bhp and be targeted at the Mercedes S-Class flagship, the S600L.

This new setup will have the 200bhp electric motor running under soft-acceleration - and BOTH the 400bhp gas motor and 200bhp electric motor running under heavy acceleration. It's getting 50 miles per gallon.

I hope Cadillac stays on top of things with the V-Series...
